One of the reasons I participate in trade associations is to tap into the pool of knowledge within the membership. How does the trade association provide the opportunity? Shows, websites, newsletters and published articles are the norm. But who provides and delivers education and training and is that person experienced enough to answer the follow-up questions or participate in deep conversation?
Education and knowledge transfer are the cornerstones of successful trade associations. Site visits and training are a “must have” if the association is to add value to the members.
